Leon Ivory is currently the minister of Hood Street Church of Christ (Hood & Rusk) in Waco, TX Brother Ivory preaches in lectureships, conducts leadership workshops, marriage seminars, and speaks in gospel meetings throughout the country. He is also the author of "There's No Place Like Home". His education experience includes attending Abilene Christian University and receiving an A.A. Degree from Southwestern Christian College; a B.A. and M.A. from Madison University and a PhD from American College.
He has 20 years of experience working in psychiatric settings with special interest in chemical dependency. His previous experience also includes five years as a manager in the financial services industry. Dr. Ivory enjoys over 40 years of marriage, has two adult children; one daughter-in-law, and three grand children.
